Terry's worst nightmare, a nut job defending him

Fifa boss Sepp Blatter in a very strange and round about way has come out and either defended John Terry or had a pop at Fabio Capello, as with everything Blatter says you can never really work out what he is saying.

Basically from my interpretation he is saying that the English look at infidelity in a very diferent way than say Latin countries and that in Latin countries he would have been congratulated as such.

Mmmm, not sure really, but here is what he said anyway in regards to Terry losing the England captaincy badge.

“Listen, this is a special approach in the Anglo-Saxon countries,” he said. “If this had happened in let’s say Latin countries then I think he would have been applauded.”

It is not as Anglo Saxon as he thinks in fact unless France is considered Anglo Saxon, he may want to have a word with Michel Platini who’s wife had an affair with one of Platini’s team mates years ago and the damage that did.

Personally we don’t think Terry should have lost the captaincy of England but we also don’t have any problem with Capello making that decision, what we have an issue with is the mad media rampage going on.

Terry has bigger issues than the captaincy, he has to rebuild his family unit that by all accounts has been seriously damaged and Blatter rather than adding to the media fire should look for other opportunities to continue with his anti English bias rather than spouting a load of crap.

If there is one man Terry don’t need having his back it is that nut Blatter.
