Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has received news ahead of the Sunderland match that PFA Player of the Year, Eden Hazard will not be available for the last Premier League match of the season. Hazard, had emergency wisdom teeth removal, and most likely won’t be fit to play. Eden Hazard recently won the Football Writer’s Association Player of the Year, and he was to collect his award this evening. But the surgery will not allow Hazard to attend his ceremony, according to the FWA’s official Twitter account…

“Footballer of the Year Eden Hazard has had emergency dental surgery and will be unable to collect his award in person tonight. “Hazard tried to delay the surgery but had to have three wisdom teeth removed on Wednesday and is still in considerable pain. “He is deeply sorry to miss the awards dinner and hopes to be at Stamford Bridge on Sunday when the FWA will hand over the trophy. “Previous winner Gianfranco Zola will pay tribute to Hazard and chairman Bruce Buck will deliver a message from the player. “Hazard will almost certainly miss Chelsea’s final game against Sunderland – the first Premier League game he will have missed this season”

Luckily, Chelsea has already locked up the Premier League title, and this final match does not have much effect on their season. But the players will still look to accumulate as many points as possible, and finish the season on a high note.
Eden Hazard has been one of José Mourinho’s most consistent players this season, scoring 20 goals and assisting 10 in all competitions so far. He will most likely be replaced by January signing, Juan Cuadrado. Cuadrado hasn’t had the debut season many were hoping for, and has disappointed in virtually every appearance he has made this season. This will provide him the opportunity that he can play in the Premier League, and that he has a spot at Chelsea. Cuadrado will probably play on the left wing, and will cause for a very pacey attack. If Loïc Remy get a start, and Willian on the opposing wing, Chelsea will have plenty of blistering pace up top.
